Job Description The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals. Assist with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) compliance related tasks such as incident evaluation/follow-up, preparation of regulatory submissions and development of EHS improvement plans and projects. The job will include a variety of projects and tasks in Safety, Industrial Hygiene and Environmental compliance. Job Description: Assist with EHS compliance related tasks such as incident evaluation/follow-up, preparation of regulatory submissions and development of EHS improvement plans and projects. Projects may include tasks such as: Supporting Industrial Hygiene monitoring and Ergonomic assessments Developing programs and performing audits to enhance High Risk Work compliance such as lock-out/tag-out, hot work, elevated work, etc. Supporting Process Safety Management activities such as Process Hazard Analyses and Pre-start-up Safety Reviews Assisting with management of waste streams including documentation of approvals and waste minimization efforts Supporting wastewater and drinking water compliance Assisting with air emissions estimations and permitting activities Developing programs to engage site employees in reducing safety and environmental incidents and enhancing reporting and investigation Qualifications: Education Minimum Requirement: Pursuing a Degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or other related degree. Preferred Experience and Skills: Prior internship or work experience in EHS field or in chemical manufacturing.
