Job Description Our Engineers support internal and external manufacturing operations remain operational, continuously improve and innovate. With our extensive range of facilities and environments, our Engineers have opportunities across many diverse areas including Biological, Chemical, Automation, Capital Projects, Maintenance, Safety, Process Development, Technical Services, Utilities and Validation. The Senior Specialist Engineer will independently or as a team leader, plan, design, and implement varied technical projects and investigations requiring knowledge of engineering and/or the physical sciences. The role requires expertise and full application of sound scientific principles, theories, concepts, techniques, and project management skills, as well as a working knowledge of our Company's methods, standards, procedures, and practice The incumbent is expected to collect and interpret information and develop solutions to projects of various scopes. The role may involve supervision of a group of 3-6 engineers.The incumbent will be expected to plan, schedule, and assign work to the professional staff to resolve day to day technical issues within the Manufacturing area. The incumbent will report to the Technical Operations Director or to a M2/P4 Engineer. Education Minimum Requirement: Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related areas of study. Required Experience and Skills: At least 5 years experience in pharmaceutical or related industry.
